River Dipping

Having watched a group of school children having great fun “pond dipping” in the river Goyt recently, I decided to take my own son to do the same on the Tame. He is nineteen now, but I figured that students still have the kiddy mentality and he would enjoy it. We were targeting some of the smaller fish in the river, and I was interested to see what we might catch. I knew there were minnows, but had no idea what else.
