Family Bird Walk

Sun 27th January 2008

Twenty four people came along for Sunday's bird walk, the weather was overcast, but at least it stayed dry! All the new binoculars were out and came in handy for spotting the birds. The kingfishers on Sunnyside Pond stayed around for the visitors, some of visitors had never seen a Kingfisher before. There was an unusual sight near the motorway, a large flock (200+) of Lapwings.

For a list of the birds we spotted see the Forum Page, Wildlife Reports page.
