HELP A HEDGEHOG

Barbara from the Withington Hedgehog Hospital paid a visit to the Vale today, accompanied by 6 month old 'Chunky' the hedgehog.

Barbara runs the hospital and has more than 400 hedgehogs in her care at the moment, last year the hospital treated and released over 1000 hedgehogs back into the wild.

Along with Chunky the hedgehog and the good weather the day was a great success, with 479 visitors looking in at the Visitor Centre, a record!
